True Istina
Creating Gonfidence one step at a time
True Istina makes music about the moment you stop running from yourself.
A Los Angeles–based singer-songwriter and co-producer, she creates alternative pop with a cinematic edge, drawing on the atmosphere of alt-R&B and the energy of punk-pop. Her songs explore identity, complicated relationships, and the courage it takes to choose yourself.
With the Croatia-filmed Road to Real, she builds a world that listeners can step into through a collection of music videos and their messages
From the confidence and freedom of “Feel the Vibe” to the difficult relationship truths of “The Word Is,” True writes about both vulnerability and the decisions that follow it. Her music leaves room for uncertainty, frustration, hope, and the realization that sometimes you have to be honest with yourself.
Her upcoming second album, The Real dives deeper into this and follows a journey through reflection, confrontation, and change—capturing the uncertainty of letting go and the freedom of moving forward.
She has been performing for years, including her first headlining show at The Mint LA and performances at The House of Blues and in Vegas and Croatia. True brings her storytelling to the stage with a message that runs through her work: face what you feel, own who you are, and decide what comes next.
At the heart of her work is connection. For her community, the Truepers, she wants to create a space where feelings are valid, kindness matters, and individuality belongs. Her purpose remains the one that first brought her to songwriting: making music that makes people feel, while giving them the courage to be themselves.
